And the ‘Ring, and the Dolomites! I just returned from the Europpomeet in Germany/Austria/Slovenia/Italy, and I must say I’m impressed by the way the Twingo handled the mountain passes.

Sure it was slow at times, the brakes got a bit hot, and overtaking took great amounts of planning, but all in all I had a bunch of fun. A large part of the fun was also due to the great company that I was in, thanks guys!

A full write-up will follow, but first it’s time for a bit of a rest for both car and driver ;p

Our Twingos may be slow, but they're fun and tough little things. Glad you had a good time, I'm rather jealous...

Yeah, they’re surprisingly tough, and actually very well suited to the cornering style needed in the mountains. According to others in the groups it looked pretty fun from the outside as well! Well, I was jealous after the Wales meet, haha. Hope to see you again at another meet.

Which wheel/ tire size are you running by the way? Rustholes are weight reduction is going to check out some Speedline Turbines for me in France , so I need to figure out which sizes and offsets would work, and which spacers I might need

I’m running the specs below. I had to go for 20mm spacers to get them to fit though. The rear shock absorbers are the first thing to get in the way. Before I put the spacers on I test fit them and they were locked against the shocks.

Looks like mine will be fine as is  then! As they are ET35, which exactly matches your wheels with the spacers (and additionally they are only 6,5J wide, still with 195 tires though, so not sure if that makes any difference in width)

“A full write-up will follow”

I expect nothing less. Well illustrated too, hopefully :)

Will you be uploading all your photo’s somewhere where others are able to access them?

You look very... concentrated here.

Yeah you should be fine then. My tyres look ever so slightly stretched on these wheels so maybe the clearance situation will even be a few mm better in your case.

Kinja'd!!!

It originally had 14s, but these fill the wheel wells much better.
